Herb's Thai Kitchen is cooked by Chef Daruth and Sous Chef Laksana (husband and wife) who love to eat great and healthy food. After countless hours of experience in the restaurant, in the states. They decided to create the authentic Thai food name Herb's thai kitchen. A medical plant which used in Thailand to make medicine called Herb, they use the leaves and seeds to flavor the food. Their goal is to combine the relationship between the nutrition and taste together for good healthy business.
Daruth Bank was born and raised in Thailand. He started to help his mom cook since he was at a young age. In 1996, Daruth first started working for a Thai restaurant in New York. Continuing his master of cooking in Italian, American and French cuisine. Daruth was trained by an extraordinarily French Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten and later become an executive chef for Land Thai restaurant in New York.
Where the taste meets the nutrition, Laksana has her Honor award of Home economics education in Bachelor degree and had been working in a Thai restaurant in New Jersey for 10 years. As Laksana is the master of nutrition; she does the purchasing and maintains the inventory and food preparation. She has a keen eye for detail and to make sure that every dish is well balanced.
